Arawang Primary School provides exceptional teaching and learning programs for students from preschool to year 6. These programs are designed to foster student independence, maturity and self-confidence. Quality teaching, a stimulating and challenging learning environment incorporating technology, an exceptional music program, a focus on the development of student leadership, creative and innovative thinking, entrepreneurial education and sustainable practices ensure that opportunities are provided for all our students to learn, grow and thrive.
Student welfare is a high priority at Arawang. Students prosper in a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment. There is a focus on individual students and on their social, emotional, physical and academic development. Our teachers are an experienced and dedicated team of professionals, who with their knowledge and enthusiasm inspire students to explore their individual interests.
Arawang Primary School is held in high regard by the local community. We are a welcoming, friendly school community with high levels of parent and community participation and decision making in our school. Throughout the year a number of special events are held which showcase the school. These events include: welcome ceremonies, curriculum evenings, assemblies, sports carnivals, Book Week and Learning Journeys. The Great Green Fete and parent committees provide opportunities for all families to meet and socialise.
