School Times 8.45 - 9.00 am: Arrive at School 9.00 am: Start time 9.00 - 11.00 am: First Teaching and Learning session 11.00 - 12 Noon: Lunch 12 Noon - 1.30 pm: Second Teaching and Learning session 1.30 pm - 2.00 pm: Recess 2.00 - 3.00 pm: Third Teaching and Learning session Morning procedure Parents are urged to not deliver students prior to 8.30am as no supervision is provided prior to this time. On arrival at school students should move to the north end of the school, on or around the sealed (bitumen) area. Students are not to enter the buildings prior to 9am unless they are accompanied by a teacher, eg in the event of inclement weather. Teachers will be on playground supervision from 8.30 am each day. Parking and drop-off zones Parent parking is provided for parents to drop students at the front of the school. There is a drop-off zone close to the main entrance of the school. Students who are dropped in this zone should move to the bitumen area via the east side of the school. School staff park at the back of the school, and parents are asked to reduce traffic at the side of the school, by parking or dropping off in the front carpark. Bicycles Our school is well serviced with bicycle paths and we like to see students riding to school. Bicycles should be parked in the bicycle enclosure which is locked during the day. Students are asked to walk their bicycle across grassed areas on their final approach to the school. Voluntary financial contributions Contributions from parents, carers and other citizens benefit and support the range of educational programs and the purchase of educational materials. These voluntary contributions may be made in full or by instalments. Section 27 of the Education Act 2004 states that:
