After School Care

The YMCA of Canberra in conjunction with Arawang Primary School is pleased to offer after school care on the school premises. Below is information on the after school care service that is provided. When
The service runs from the end of school until 6.00pm from Monday to Friday.

Availability
The service is available on a permanent, part time or casual basis.

Staff
The staff members are employed by the YMCA of Canberra and are competent and experienced in the childcare industry.

Aims of the Service
The aim of after school care is to provide children with a safe, fun and caring environment.

Program details
The daily program is full of fun and innovative ideas to keep the children interested. These activities include outdoor play, craft, cooking, indoor games, quiet time for homework, board games and even a movie day!

Bookings
All bookings are to be made through YMCA School Age Care which is based at 100 Maitland St Hackett. Casual bookings are taken each day until 12pm only. Please call the YMCA on 02 6230-0165 to make your bookings.
